We did it! After months of brainstorming, researching and planning, last Friday Little Princess Trust launched all new boy-brand 'Hero by LPT'.

With a focus entirely on boys and young men who have lost their hair as a result of cancer treatment or other medical conditions it was great to welcome two of our brilliant ambassadors along to the launch.

It was the first time that Regan Walker and Will Butler (Worcester Warriors and England Under 20's Rugby) had met, but with a shared passion for sport and helping young people achieve their dreams, the two hit it off straight away!

Our gathered guests of friends, family, trustees, press and patrons listened to a presentation from charity manager, Monica Glass, during which Monica explained Hero by LPT's aim to engage better with boys and young men in the hope that they will feel more comfortable talking about - and accepting - a wig.

Regan Walker then shared his story. Regan's footballing career was cut short at the age of 18 following the diagnosis of a rare form of cancer, Ewing's Sarcoma. Regan was introduced to Little Princess Trust via a nurse at the Christie and he is delighted to be able to champion the work of Hero by LPT:

The charity is amazing. It’s a great bunch of people who put their time and effort in to helping boys and girls going through a very difficult period in their life and I can’t thank them enough for what they have done for me and continue to do for others.

We would like to thank King St Kitchen, Hereford, for donating the most DELICIOUS cake that was enjoyed by everyone! Special thanks also to Dave and his team at Hello Agency for their incredible work on the website and marketing materials, to Chris and co at ABC Print for a phenomenal turn around and to all of our wonderful supporters, without whom none of our achievements would be possible.
